Baby Card

One of my first posts was a picture of the baby card that I made for my cousin's baby shower.  Here is the card that I plan to send when the baby arrives.  The baby is due to make her debut any day now, so I am very excited!  This card has lots of layers but punches make it so easy to cut the pieces and layer them on the card.  I really love Rich Razzleberry and mixing it with the green and blue makes this card good no matter if the recipient is a boy or a girl!  Enjoy!

More Teacher Gifts!

My seventh grade son decided that he wanted to give his core class teachers a gift for Teacher Appreciation Week!  I was somewhat shocked since it is not really cool in middle school to give gifts to your teachers.  I am proud of him that he is willing to do it anyway!  He was using an RSVP pen that we filled with paper that he liked during school and his teachers commented how much they liked it.  Well, he remembered that and asked if we could make them for his teachers.  I suggested adding a matching notepad and he agreed again!  I let him dig through my Designer Series Paper and he chose these papers based on his teachers' favorite colors!  He really put some thought into this gif,t so I am excited for him to take them to all of his teachers!  I hope that they enjoy them and you do too!

Fun Candle Holder

This is my newest creation!  A little SU! + a little Home Depot = a cute candle holder for my deck!
This is the metal flashing that is used for roofs! I ran it through the Big Shot with the Flower Folds Die and presto!  I did use my Crop-A-Dile to attach all of the pieces together in the centers of each of the flowers, and put a little tealight over the top!  The bonus that I wasn't even thinking of at first.....they won't rust because it the roof material!  I showed it to some of my friends and they are already asking to make them!  I think that we may be getting together soon and there will be lots of flowers popping up on decks all over town!  Do you love it as much as I do?

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

This is Teacher Appreciation Week and these are the little Thank You gifts that I made for the staff at
my daughter's school!  It is just a small handmade thank you for everything that everyone does to make our school so wonderful!  My son and daughter had/have great role models and we appreciate them all! I used a bunch of different papers with the Matchbox Die and filled them with Hershey Nuggets! Then I embossed the tag and used the scallop oval punch to dress them up a bit.  52 boxes in all!!! I hope that they like them!
