This card and scrapbook page were the projects that we did at a home workshop last week. The hostess wanted to use the Elements of Style set from the SU! Summer Mini. I LOVE THIS SET!!!! It is so versatile and classic. It reminds me of my Grandmom's house growing up. It is a comforting pattern, don't you think? The card was cased from a teammate and I switched out the colors. I was happy with the color combination, it is one that I had never used before. We did the card first and then showed how you can take a card and make it into a scrapbook page. The guests were excited about the projects too! That is always a great feeling when things go well and the guests are excited about what we did! I hope that you enjoy them as much as they did! Have a great day!

I finally got to try the new Smooch Spray from SU! This is a project that we did at our last SU! team meeting. If you look closely at the picture you can see the vanilla shimmer over the bookmark. I really like the effect it has on the project! It just gives it that extra little sparkle, but it is not overwhelming. Needless to say, after I tried out the spray I ordered some for myself! I wasn't so crazy about Melon Mambo when it first came out either, but I am really enjoying the bright pink color. It looks good with so many other colors too! I am so glad that SU! has decided to keep this color in the new color line!
Today is going to be another hot one here in Pennsylvania, enjoy your Tuesday and try to stay cool!

I know it has been a few weeks since I have posted......life has been very busy here at our house! My two children are actively involved in sports and their schedules the past two weeks have been packed. Their schedules along with the impending end of the school year have not allowed for much extra activity here! So.....here are some pics of the strange weather that we had in Pennsylvania last Thursday. What a wild hailstorm we had at about 5:00 in the afternoon!!! Thankfully, we had just pulled into the driveway at our house and got into the house before the worst of it hit! It was amazing! Be back tomorrow with some new craft creations!
