Tin Mini Album

Look what you can do with some retired paper and a tin that I have had in the cabinet for over a year! A cute little mini album.  I am not sure what pictures I will put in it yet though.  I have lots of retired paper and the tins are on sale in the SU! Clearance Shop, so I think I will add this idea to my spring class schedule and make a few for gifts too!

Four Seasons Scrapbook Frame

I have had this frame for about a year......I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it.  Finally, last week I decided that I was tired of storing all of them ( I have 13 more!).  So, I found this great website, http://www.52sketches52weeks.com/  and starting looking for sketches to case.  These are the pages that I came up with......and a new class was born!  Four Seasons Scrapbook Frame!  Attendees will get the frame and then create the four 8x8 pages.  The small white discs in the corners are really strong magnets that hold the pages in place.  So, you can create the pages, display them for as long as you'd like, and then add them to an 8x8 scrapbook!  The stars of my pages are my two great kids through the seasons (and the years)! What do you think?

Card to Scrapbook

This card and scrapbook page were the projects that we did at a home workshop last week.  The hostess wanted to use the Elements of Style set from the SU! Summer Mini.  I LOVE THIS SET!!!!  It is so versatile and classic.  It reminds me of my Grandmom's house growing up.  It is a comforting pattern, don't you think? The card was cased from a teammate and I switched out the colors.  I was happy with the color combination, it is one that I had never used before.  We did the card first and then showed how you can take a card and make it into a scrapbook page.  The guests were excited about the projects too!  That is always a great feeling when things go well and the guests are excited about what we did!  I hope that you enjoy them as much as they did!  Have a great day!

I GOT AWAY!

I got away this past weekend with some of my SU! teammates and lots of other SU! demos at The RemARKable Retreat!  This is another one of the make and takes that we did while we were there!  I am really loving this new Designer Series Paper called Sentimental Journey.  It will be available starting May 1 in the new SU! Summer Mini Catalog!  The weekend was so much fun filled with tons of stampin' and some scrappin' too!  I even got a headstart on my Christmas cards!  Keep an eye out for a sample soon!

Black and White

Here is the first one! I promised to show you projects from my weekend SU! event!  These are 12 x 12 scrapbook pages.  I love how they turned out! They are very simple, clean and neat.  I am going to try to find some good black and white photos to add to them.  Since we have been going through old family photos lately that shouldn't be too difficult. Enjoy!
