I had promised you more tiles awhile back and here they are! These make a great housewarming gift.  They can totally be customized to the recipient's style and tastes.  Be sure to use permanent ink and I sealed them with a matte spray. They work like a dream!  Enjoy!

Decor Elements Plate

A dear friend of mine shared these fabulous plates with me.  She thought that I might be able to find something to do with them......she does know me well!  I remembered that I had won this decor element at one of my upline meetings and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it!  It fit almost perfectly onto the plate.  I only had to trim about a 1/4 inch off of the square for it to fit!  I love how it turned out, so I started digging through my stash of decor elements to see what I could find to fit onto the other 3 plates that she gave me!  Here they are ( I know that they are Christmas, but they are cute aren't they?).

Gorgeous Gift Bag

Isn't this cute!?  New purse or gift bag?  Both!  One of my SU! teammates came up with this idea.....not sure who, so I can't give credit by name.  Sorry!  Sooo simple!  2 sheets of black 12 x 12 cardstock, whatever DSP that you love for the patterned strip across the front of the purse, another thin strip of patterned DSP to crimp and create the flower, an antique brad and the bag on the inside!  Went to my favorite dollar store, Dollar Tree, and purchased their very sturdy gift bags (2 for $1).  I cut the top off and then adhered the black paper to it.  I know that you can get gift bags cheaper, but Dollar Tree sells them in a variety of colors that match all of our DSP!  Wouldn't this make a great best girlfriend gift bag?  A great gift bag for your bridesmaids?  A new mom gift bag?  A mother's day gift bag?  Best yet, a Valentine's gift bag?  The possibilities are endless!!!

Storage for Your Cards!

This is the last project that we made at our RemARKable Team Meeting last Saturday!  It is a box that fits all of the cards that we made at our meeting!  It would be a great gift box for cards, jewelry, gift cards, candies or anything else that you can think of!  Any ideas for how to use it?  Check out the Candy Cane fabric that we tied around the box to finish it off!!!!

RemARKable Gathering

Hello!  It has been a few weeks since my last post.  Sorry for the delay!  I am here to share the projects from my most recent Stampin' Up! team meeting.  I spent the day in Spring Grove, PA on Saturday with my RemArkable teammates!  My upline Jan Wakeland is amazing!  She always provides us with a great meeting, great topics, and great projects!  My teammates always come with so much to share too! And we have a lot of fun at the meetings!  For the next few days I will be sharing the projects that we made at our meeting!  They all use the Candy Cane Designer Series Paper that is featured in the Holiday Mini.  None of the projects are Christmas though.....they all have a winter and/or Valentine's theme!  What a great way to use up all of your paper!  Or you can order some of the paper before the mini expires so that you can duplicate these great projects!  By the way, have you thought about joining the SU! team?  Did you know that the Starter Kit is 50% off right now until November 30!?  What a deal.....$310 worth of products for $87.50!  It doesn't get better than that!  Contact me if you are interested in joining my SU! team!!!  Enjoy this cute hand sanitizer holder!

Rudolph Day!

Can you believe that Christmas is only 2 months away! My friend Leann over at The Old Parsonage http://somewouldevensayitglows.blogspot.com/  introduced me to Rudolph Day.  Celebrated on the 25th of every month, it is a day set aside to do something for the Christmas holidays.  In honor of Rudolph Day, I am sharing this ornament.  Isn't the fabric wonderful?  This is the new Stampin' Up! fabric.  I do not sew so I was sooo excited that this is a no sew project!  What is also nice, is that there is matching Deisgner Series Paper too!  A version of this ornament will be made and given to my co-workers, to our family for our annual ornament exchange, and for my daughter's teachers. So, if you are any of those people, please act surprised when you receive it!  Oh, I almost forgot,.....we will be making this at my Christmas Stamp Camp in November!  Happy Rudolph Day!  What will you do to celebrate!

Picture Purse

This is a sample of the picture purse that I will be featuring in my next round of classes.  I learned it from a teammate in Michigan!  I love the the fact that it takes so few supplies (1 sheet of 12 x 12 DSP  and 1 sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock and then a little extra of each to create the flap on the purse) to create this cute purse!  I have not yet added pics, but I will!  This would make a great baby or wedding shower gift!  Any teacher would love to get this at the end of the year from her class!  Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and/or Christmas would all be appropriate holidays to use this as a gift!  Best of all, they can be personalized to match the receiver's personality and tastes!  Let me know what you think that you would use this purse for!

More Teacher Gifts!

My seventh grade son decided that he wanted to give his core class teachers a gift for Teacher Appreciation Week!  I was somewhat shocked since it is not really cool in middle school to give gifts to your teachers.  I am proud of him that he is willing to do it anyway!  He was using an RSVP pen that we filled with paper that he liked during school and his teachers commented how much they liked it.  Well, he remembered that and asked if we could make them for his teachers.  I suggested adding a matching notepad and he agreed again!  I let him dig through my Designer Series Paper and he chose these papers based on his teachers' favorite colors!  He really put some thought into this gif,t so I am excited for him to take them to all of his teachers!  I hope that they enjoy them and you do too!

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

This is Teacher Appreciation Week and these are the little Thank You gifts that I made for the staff at
my daughter's school!  It is just a small handmade thank you for everything that everyone does to make our school so wonderful!  My son and daughter had/have great role models and we appreciate them all! I used a bunch of different papers with the Matchbox Die and filled them with Hershey Nuggets! Then I embossed the tag and used the scallop oval punch to dress them up a bit.  52 boxes in all!!! I hope that they like them!

Teacher Gift Set

What a practical (and stylish) end of the year teacher gift!!!  This gift set includes a clipboard, paperclip holder, post it note holder, and notepad & pen.  All matching of course!  Urban Garden Designer Series Paper is a retired SU! product but I love the big, bold flowers and the color combination!  As a full time teacher, I would love to give and receive a gift like this!  This is another class that I will be offering throughout May and June.  It is a great class for a mom or dad to bring the child along to assist with their teacher's gift don't you think?
