I hope that everyone has been enjoying a fabulous holiday season with their family and friends. Our holiday was interrupted with me having a nasty case of strep throat. It started the Saturday before Christmas and I was not feeling close to 100% until the day after Christmas. Those days leading up to Christmas are always my favorites. At home, at my school, and with my kids! I think that it's the anticipation of what is to come. Unfortunately, all that I got to experience was a torturous amount of time in bed. If you know me, laying still and not being able to talk is truly torture! I hurt so bad, talking and swallowing was virtually impossible, and the pounding headache caused by a high fever didn't make that resting time restful at all. I am glad to say that I am feeling tons better and Christmas happened (successfully)! So, I have been trying to catch up at home with my kids, my teaching, my SU! stuff, and of course blogging! I hope that by the end of the week, everything will be caught up (and hopefully a little bit ahead)! If you get a chance to check out this great promotion from SU!, please do! What a fun way to get a headstart on Valentine's Day!

Simply Adorned Love Charm
If I had to pick a favorite project from DIVA Day, this would be the one! I LOVE IT!!! So classic and vintage looking....you wouldn't believe how easy it was to make! I bought the charms pretty much right away when they were introduced. They have been sitting in the lovely brown boxes since then! Then we made this! It's that Deck the Halls DSP again, simple cherry cobbler punched heart, lace ribbon and the birds are from the hostess set in the Holiday Mini! I will definitely be creating some more charms!

Love Cards!
Recognize this paper.....yes, I know! Still more Deck the Halls DSP! These are more of the reasons that I actually bought more of this paper before it goes away when the Holiday Mini ends! I just love the classic look of both of the cards, don't you? Thanks again to JanWakeland, one of my fabulous uplines that hosted the DIVA Day where we created these cards!

Valentine's Day Card
Love this {love} card! Instead of just using up my leftover Deck the Halls DSP, I actually purchased more! I will be holding a class in January featuring all of these designs! They are simple, but beautiful don't you think? Enjoy!

Got Any Leftovers?
Isn't this an adorable card? And it is sooo simple! I love it! The patterned hearts are made from the current Christmas paper....Deck The Halls! What a great way to use up the leftovers! Or a chance to buy some of the paper before it is no longer available! This is a project that we made at DIVA Day at Jan Wakeland's (she is a fabulous upline)! I'd love to hear about how you use your paper leftovers! Drop a comment with your suggestions!
